About the Asteroids and Aliens
Asteroids and Aliens is a modern arcade shooter inspired by the 1979 classic. It features fast-paced space combat with both keyboard and controller support with controls accessible from the main menu. The game has 20 levels plus a final endgame stage. Each level requires players to complete specific tasks and collect a randomly placed machine part before unlocking the gateway to the next stage. Enemies, items, and machine parts change locations each time keeping the gameplay unpredictable. Players have access to various weapons including missiles bullets lasers smart bombs and a Nuke EMP. While missiles and bullets are unlimited, other weapons should be used strategically.
The retro-style rocket ship controls similarly to the original Asteroids arcade game, allowing full 360-degree rotation, forward thrust, and reverse movement. The game starts off casual but quickly ramps up into a high-speed shooter with intense enemy encounters.
